The Diocesan Education Board (C.N.I) under the Chairmanship of the (Late) Bishop A.R. Yusuf accepted the proposal of Dr. S.D. Chand, Principal Ewing Christian College to start and English-medium primary school from the academic year 1992-93 in the vacant building of the Rhea hostel as a branch of Bishop Johnson School & College.
